Mr. Ian Chu currently works for Shopify as APAC Commercial Lead, focusing on market expansion and partnerships in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Shopify is a world leading eCommerce SaaS platform, with its mission of making commerce better for everyone. Throughout Ian's career, he has been focusing on growth strategy, Go-to-Market strategy, digital transformation, and M&A projects. Before Shopify, Ian was working on Go-to-Market initiatives in a Peter Thiel backed startup in Europe, a management consultant in Accenture Strategy, and a product owner of different tech companies.

In his personal capacity, he is a mentor in the Global Mentorship Initiative. Ian holds an MBA degree from INSEAD and a computer science Master degree with a visiting student scholarship from UCLA. With his experiences in Tech and consulting firms, Ian is looking forward to contributing to Taiwan's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
